# Fill mode and focus window

A small window that stays next to your browser during an upload session. It has two modes: focus and fill.

## The small window

The two buttons next to **Columns** open a small window beside your browser. It shows one mode at a time. The same button closes it; the other button switches the mode. The window stays on top of other windows (the pin in its header turns this off) and closes with tracklog.

## Focus mode

Focus shows one list and only the platforms you are uploading to. You change statuses right there, without switching back to the main window.

The first time, focus asks which platforms the session is for. It remembers your choice for each list. One click on a dot makes it Live.



## Fill mode

Fill mode pastes values from the track card into upload forms, so you don't retype them. It works on macOS and Windows.

1. Select a track in the main window and open the fill window.
2. In your browser, click the form field.
3. In the fill window, click the value: title, BPM, description, codes or the whole All tags line. It is pasted into the field.



Your artist name, publisher and other details that forms ask about you go into **Settings → Your details**. They show at the top of the fill window.

> **On a Mac, macOS asks for permission the first time.** Allow tracklog in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Otherwise it can't paste into other apps. Windows doesn't ask.
