In short. Melody Loops is a stock music marketplace that anyone can join. You create a composer account and send tracks, loops and alternate versions. Each track is reviewed before it goes into the catalog. The deal is non-exclusive, and you get 50% of each sale after payment fees. Its public pages say nothing about AI music, so ask support first.
How to join
You create an account on the composer site. The form asks for:
- your legal first and last name, and your public artist name;
- your email and your country;
- a link to a social account: Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram;
- a tick to confirm that "these account and identity details are accurate".
One limit is stated on the composer page: "At this time, we cannot accept applications from people residing in Russia."
Then you submit production music, loops and alternate versions. Melody Loops says: "Every published track is reviewed before entering the catalog." The public pages give no review time.
Exclusive or not
Non-exclusive. The composer page says: "Our agreement is non-exclusive." You keep your copyright, and you can keep selling the same music on other sites.
The license buyers get is non-exclusive too. Melody Loops' license agreement says its term is "Ninety Nine (99) years from the date of receipt of payment".
AI-generated music
When checked on 26 October 2026, the composer page, the terms and the buyer license said nothing about AI-made music. The composer rules and agreement pages did not load for us. Write to support@melodyloops.com before you upload AI music. More on the rules elsewhere: Selling AI-generated music.
Files and metadata
The composer page asks for production music, loops and alternate versions. It does not list file formats. Melody Loops licenses the music for videos, presentations, advertising, podcasts, apps and other media.
How you are paid
- Split. You get 50% of revenue after payment processor fees. Melody Loops keeps the other 50%. The page says there are "no additional platform deductions hidden from the split."
- Payouts. Weekly, once your balance reaches $25.
- Methods. PayPal or Payoneer.
Melody Loops handles the licenses, the sales and buyer support. Your composer dashboard shows each track's status, your sales and your earnings.
What to keep in your catalog
- The review answer for each track and its date.
- Which loops and alternate versions you sent with each track.
- The track's name on Melody Loops, if it differs from your main title.
- The deal: non-exclusive, so the track stays free for other non-exclusive sites. It must not go to an exclusive library while it is here. See Exclusive or non-exclusive.
