Motion Array for music producers

Motion Array is a membership site for video makers: members pay and download music, templates and footage. Here is how it works for music artists, as of October 2026.

From my catalog. 183 tracks are live on Motion Array, and 33 were rejected.

In short. Motion Array is an unlimited-download membership for video makers, and music is one part of it. When checked in October 2026, its producer page said that artist submissions are closed. The catalog is non-exclusive. Its upload rules say nothing about AI music. Titles work the other way round from AudioJungle. Motion Array wants a unique, artistic title, not a plain description.

How to join

When checked on 26 October 2026, the "Become a producer" page said: "Artist submissions are currently closed." We could not open the page directly, so this line is from the search engine's copy of it. Open the page yourself before you plan around it.

When it is open, you register on that page and fill in an application. Motion Array's artist help says to add public links to your work and to upload 3 to 5 example assets. It says you usually hear back within 14 business days. The curation team picks artists.

Exclusive or not

Non-exclusive. The producer page calls Motion Array a non-exclusive catalog: you can sell the same work there and on other platforms at the same time.

AI-generated music

Motion Array's upload rules, updated September 2025, say nothing about AI in the music and audio sections. The stock photo section says: "No image created or generated by AI tools will be accepted." Ask Motion Array before you send an AI track. For other sites, see Can you sell AI music?

Files and metadata

From the upload rules, updated September 2025:

  • Package. Everything in one ZIP. "We don't accept direct .wav file uploads."
  • Format. WAV, 24-bit, 48 kHz. Other sample rates only case by case.
  • Preview. One WAV at 24-bit 48 kHz with every version in the package, 1 to 3 seconds of silence between them.
  • Versions. Only inside the original submission. "Do not submit alternate versions as separate products."
  • Stems. Optional, printed wet. A product with stems goes to the Music Kits category. On large projects, 10 to 15 stems at most.
  • File names. MA_ContributorName_ProductName_Version, stems ..._Stem_StemName. No spaces, no punctuation, no non-English letters.
  • Title. "We do not accept generic titles in our library." A reviewer can ask for a new one.
  • Tags. Unique and searchable, one word each where you can.
  • Description. Short, with the mood and style, key instruments and main uses. List the versions in the package.
  • Lyrics go in a PDF or TXT file with copyright details.

Samples and loops are fine only if their license lets you resell tracks made with them. Sound-alikes are not allowed. If a submission needs changes, it shows "Changes Needed" in My Submissions, with the reviewer's notes. Motion Array says it does not discuss rejections.

Codes, Content ID and royalties

  • Content ID only through six companies: "AdRev, Artlist, CDbaby, EpicElite, HAAWK, Identifyy". Tracks registered with any other company are not accepted.
  • The registered name. You must give "the original track name as it was registered with the platform you selected". It can differ from the name on Motion Array.
  • Buyers can filter it out. Members can browse with an "Exclude Content ID" filter.
  • Performing rights. P.R.O.-registered tracks are accepted. The form asks for the details. Do not write "self-published" or "none". Buyers see the P.R.O., composer, publisher and the name the track is registered under.

How you are paid

Motion Array pays royalties once a month, on the 15th of the following month. Your earnings must reach $50. Payouts go to Payoneer or PayPal, which you connect in your Seller Profile.

What to keep in your catalog

  • The title on Motion Array. It is usually different from your AudioJungle title. See Retitling.
  • The name the track has in Content ID, and the company. Motion Array asks for both at upload.
  • The file names in the MA_ pattern, so a fix reuses the same package.
  • The review status: live, Changes Needed or rejected, with the date.
